Symbols & elements
The red pattern on white is drawn from a traditional woven towel (rushnyk) embroidered in 1917 by Matrona Markevich. Its rhombus motifs evoke the harvest, fertility and the continuity of Belarusian folk culture.

Proportions: 1:2. On an 18 × 9 grid: a vertical ornament stripe on the hoist side (2 wide, i.e. 1/9 of the length), then two horizontal bands — red (6 high, two-thirds) and green (3 high, one-third). The ornament (red on white) is a traditional embroidery.
