Construction details
Proportions 2:3. A white cross, whose arms reach the edges, divides the field into four quarters alternating blue and red (the upper hoist quarter is blue). At the centre, the coat of arms: a shield bearing the flag, an open Bible topped by a cross, spears, laurel and palm branches, and the motto 'Dios, Patria, Libertad'.
